How to configure a compact desktop display

Set up a small, readable monitoring display and customize its skin.

1. Show only what you need: download, upload, maybe CPU.
2. Use the taskbar display or a small floating window.
3. Choose a clear font and strong text contrast (customization).
4. Lower transparency if numbers are hard to read over busy wallpapers.
5. Place the window where it never covers controls you use.
