Plugin support

How third-party plugins can extend NetSpeedDisplay, and how to stay safe.

The supplied specification lists plugin support. The plugin format and developer documentation have not been verified, so none is described here.

Safe habits

• Install plugins only from sources you trust.
• Prefer plugins that publish their source code.
• Remove plugins you no longer use.
• Check the plugin’s requirements before granting administrator rights.
