Installation and extraction

How to download, verify and set up NetSpeedDisplay on Windows.

Use only the link on the download page. Pick the edition that matches your needs; see system requirements.

Verify the file

When an official SHA-256 checksum is published, compute your file’s checksum in PowerShell and compare the two values:

Get-FileHash .\NetSpeedDisplay-file.zip -Algorithm SHA256

Replace the file name with the one you downloaded. If the values differ, delete the file and download it again from the official page.

Extract or install

  • Archive: extract it to a folder you control, such as one under your user profile, then start the program from that folder.
  • Installer: run it and follow the prompts.

Which applies is pending verification. Do not disable antivirus or SmartScreen to get past a warning.
