How to check network speed on Windows

Three ways to see network speed on Windows and when to use each.

1. Task Manager: press Ctrl+Shift+Esc, open Performance, choose Wi-Fi or Ethernet. Shows live send and receive.
2. A speed test website: measures the maximum your connection delivers right now. Close other apps first.
3. A live monitor: like NetSpeedDisplay, keeps current traffic visible all the time.
